Leaderflush Shapland, the UK’s leading performance doorset manufacturer, values the communities it’s a part of and the unique individuality and talents of its employees. Within Leaderflush Shapland, we aim to make a positive contribution by supporting and sponsoring local teams and encouraging our individual employees in raising money for charitable organisations.
On September 11th a team from Leaderflush Shapland took part in the UK’s largest corporate relay, the Robin Hood Half Marathon. The Corporate Relay Challenge has been a firm fixture in the Nottingham business calendar for nine years, In addition to raising much needed funds for charity the corporate challenge encourages local businesses to take their health and fitness as seriously as their careers. The event covered 13.1 miles with each member running nearly 3 miles each leg, Leaderflush Shapland completed the relay in 1 hour and 56 minutes.
This year teams were raising money for the Dame Kelly Holmes charity the DKH Legacy Trust. The charity aims to ‘create life chances for young people’. Having seen first hand the difference that world class sports performers can make to kids’ lives, Dame Kelly set up her own charity. Every young person that the Trust supports has the chance to work with, be inspired by, and learn from the experience of world class sports stars.
Leaderflush Shapland is united in continually encouraging employees to share a passion for the community through both our approach to corporate social responsibility and our employee development scheme, Leaderflush Shapland is committed to developing its staff and contributing to their future success.
