Knauf sponsors awards showcasing finest work in the construction industry

Knauf UK and Knauf Insulation are proud to sponsor the prestigious Private Housing Project of the Year category in this years hotly contested Structural Timber Awards.

As one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of lightweight building product and systems, the Drywall side of the business, Knauf UK is fully committed to contributing to providing the construction needs of the UK in future generations. The Private Housing Project award recognises projects for their forward-thinking approach to sustainability and energy efficiency, two areas that Knauf whole-heartedly supports.

Aimed at promoting excellence in the use of structural timber technologies, the Structural Timber Awards recognise, promote and encourage best practice and accomplishments in the construction industry.

With over 200 entries into this year’s awards the quantity and quality of the competition is higher than ever. The awards ceremony will take place on October 10th at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham.

Richard Allen, Head of Business Development at Knauf UK, will present the award to the worthy winner during the ceremony.

The following projects have been shortlisted in the Private Housing Project of the Year category:

  •          Webb Yates Engineers: Barrett’s Grove

“Awards programmes such as the Structural Timber Awards truly showcase the pinnacle of technique, craftmanship and skill that is present in the UK’s construction industry,” Paul Chandler, Head of Marketing at Knauf said.
