KEIM Mineral Paints are delighted to announce the opening of their Inspiration Centre within the iconic Business Design Centre in London. KEIM will be using the space to inspire future projects by hosting regular events, presentations, and one on one consultations in a relaxed environment which is conveniently situated an easy five minute walk from Angel tube station.
Project examples adorn the walls, along with sample boards and colour cards which demonstrate the effects that can be created using mineral paints, from colourwashes for concrete, through to metallics for more elegant projects, to more traditional interior and exterior paints.
The Inspiration Centre will be open every Wednesday, and by appointment Monday to Friday, where KEIM staff, including their Senior Colourist Nicola Young, will be on hand to answer any questions, look at design specifications, and advise on the various paint products and finishes.
Vanessa Fox, Commercial Manager helps to explain, ‘Many people may not be aware, but KEIM is the most certified paint in the world. It’s kind to use, kind to you, and kind to the environment. We have been handcrafting breathable paint since 1878.’
She continues, ‘Opening the Inspiration Centre gives us the opportunity to meet clients in a friendly setting, and being in the BDC makes us easily accessible to the whole of the architect and design community based in and around London.’
Whilst much of KEIM’s business is located around the South East, their team of specialists are based across the UK with projects that include remote lighthouses, museums, palaces, and even football stadiums!
Vanessa continued, ‘Interest in sustainable paints is increasing as decorators, homeowners and architects have become more aware of paint they are using, its ingredients and their effect on the environment. KEIM is non-toxic, odourless, and fire resistant making it ideal to use for projects from heritage to high-rise. It is safe, durable, and sustainable.’
KEIM’s UK Head Office and production facility is based in Shropshire from where the customer support team manage orders, answer questions, and despatch sample pots and colour charts.
