Introducing Palfrey, an exciting new project from Montreal-based tile designer and Art Director Catherine Braconnier.
Inspired by her deeply rooted passion for horses, this exclusive collection was conceived around an equestrian theme explored for the first time in ceramic forms. A combination of sophisticated geometry and timeless architectural shapes, Palfrey brings to life a collection of ceramic surfaces that are the perfect mix of urban edginess and natural rigour.
Three geometric forms inspired from the equestrian experience. The first draws upon the efficient curve of the hoof. The second recreates a view of nature dissected by the man made fence and the relative visual texture that results, and the third seeks to bring the geometric solidity and function of the traditional paving shapes historically used in equine facilities to evoke a sense of engineered robustness with a rural Familiarity.
Palfrey is produced solely in Gres Porcelain to deliver durability, precision and flexibility of application.
