IG Lintels is celebrating double success for its Spanning Suburbia campaign in the highly-respected Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Marketing Excellence Awards. The campaign has been shortlisted in two categories: Best Content Marketing Campaign and Best Brand Building Campaign (SME).
Devised in conjunction with MRA Marketing, the campaign aims to reignite the nation’s love of suburban architecture by showcasing the design potential of IG’s innovative housebuilding products.
Central to the campaign was a competition organised in conjunction with RIBA Journal, which asked architects to design a sustainable building fit for a reimagined suburbia. The competition attracted 46 entries, each demonstrating creativity, style, and in some cases wit. The campaign also included an extensive PR campaign, a roundtable discussion with the competition winners and judges, and a dedicated website.
“We feel so honoured to be shortlisted for these awards,” says Derrick McFarland, MD of IG Lintels. “It’s been a fun and fascinating campaign to work on, and has been very successful in getting IG and our products in front of architects, who are an important market for us.
“To find ourselves among the likes of PwC, The Royal Navy, and Rolls Royce for the work we’ve done is just the icing on the cake.”
The award winners will be announced on 2nd April 2020 at The Brewery in London.
