Ideal Commercial Boilers appoints new Business Development Manager

3 Feb 2016
News

Leading British manufacturer Ideal Commercial Boilers has appointed Paul Ballard in the role of Business Development Manager. Based in Letchworth, Paul’s territories include Oxford, Slough and across into London, covering everything above the Thames, barring the E postcode area.  A keen motorsport enthusiast, Paul enjoys the challenge of driving Ideal’s business forward and further strengthening their sales force in this busy region.

After studying Engineering at Coventry University, Paul started his career with Mitsubishi Electric, working within their Living Environmental Systems Division for PV (Photovoltaics) as Business Support Manager before moving on to become Business Development Manager across all products in the division (renewable heating, ventilation and air conditioning).  Paul joined Ideal Commercial Boilers in September 2015 and is responsible for liaising with a wide range of Ideal’s customers including contractors, M&E Consultants, Merchants and Developers, helping  ensure that the correct heating solution is selected for each of their projects.

Paul commented, “Moving to a boiler manufacturer is new to me, though my experience at Mitsubishi Electric had some crossover with customers.  The heating requirements I had previously worked on had been renewable rather than gas so it’s not a completely new area of expertise.’
