Harmer launches new technical brochure for Roof Drainage

27 Jul 2017
News

Harmer Building Drainage, part of Alumasc Water Management Solutions (AWMS), has updated its technical brochure for its innovative Roof Outlets, Roof Channel Drains and Raised Deck Supports. The comprehensive brochure is aimed at helping Architects and Specifiers fully appreciate the benefits of Harmer’s extensive range of roof drainage solutions.

The detailed brochure showcases new innovations such as the new range of Harmer Modulock channels, Cast Iron Balcony Outlet, Planter Drain and Two Way Insulated Outlet. These new products are ideal for flat and low-pitched roofs raised deck structures such as podium decks, terraces and balconies. The brochure also includes updated information on the Modulock Pedestal Support System and the AV spigot design.

An important part of the literature is Harmer’s bespoke manufacturing capabilities – a unique advantage that has led to the development of a new aluminium bespoke section for projects requiring non-standard pipe and rainwater outlet configurations.

The brochure also includes information on BIM and Harmer’s Drainage Design Calculator. The calculator allows Architects and Building Services Engineers to design and quantify all their drainage requirements using exclusive software.

Marketing Manager, Ben Green comments: “Harmer’s new technical brochure is timely with the development of new products and ranges, ensuring we consistently supply some of the industry’s leading innovations. Our bespoke manufacturing combined with high performance materials means we can provide the right solution for every project design.

“An important part of our business is our integrated approach to water management,” continues Ben. “With this in mind, AWMS brands – which also include Skyline, Rainwater and Gatic - work in synergy to provide effective water management solutions from rain to drain.”
