Renown leaders of engineered wooden flooring Listone Giordano, were chosen by one of the world’s foremost hotel groups as part of the interior design for their new headquarters in Singapore.
As one a world leading hotel groups, Accor Hotels is constantly continuing its development. Recent movements include acquiring several chains and recently relocating their headquarters’ offices to Guoco Tower, part of an iconic integrated mixed-use development, Tanjong Pagar Centre in Singapore. This is the heart of business in Southeast Asia, with the new offices designed for the comfort and well-being of its many employees.
The group have designed their new commercial space with wood in mind; the natural wood element becomes an integral part of the interior flow, and is fundamental in the finishes of many communal areas as well as in the offices.
Listone Giordano was carefully selected to give Accor Hotels’ offices a special natural aesthetic that is also hardwearing. Specifying from the Michelangelo collection bringing the concept of "wood therapy" to its new headquarters, and validates the flexibility of use in both commercial and residential spaces. It reflects Singapore’s charming, thriving vibe that combines Western modernity and a treasured Eastern and colonial past.
Michelangelo Collection shows off the natural grain and rich textures of the wood. Here, we use the ancient technique of treating the wood with natural pigments to call up a rich tapestry of colour and movement.
