One of the key challenges in this Westfield project was the logistics of getting large glass panels distributed across many floors. The installation of 4.5m x 2m glass panels weighing 400kg in a confined area as well as the tight programming and planning to ensure the project was finished to deadlines was also critical. Full structural integrity was also essential.
Specialist lifting equipment was employed and there was a highly experienced glass installation team and expert operators to work on the 20 retail units. Glass Aftercare coordinated a seamless project, implementing strong lines of communication and management to complete the project on time.
