This unique modern new build project in Hertfordshire features a basement swimming pool at rear garden level. The architects required an innovative timber glazed door solution to give the pool the feeling of being outside, extending the room out to the patio area leading to the landscaped gardens.
The semi-circular folding/stacking timber door system design by Westbury required very careful planning, working closely with the ironmongery track system supplier and architects to ensure complete client satisfaction. The final design resulted in a seven double glazed timber leaves either side, fully opening with a smooth action. The room closes seamlessly for winter months allowing year round use of the pool.
