It was a big night for Tobermore at the annual Plant & Civil Engineer Awards!
Tobermore’s Lough Fea Quarry was highly praised by an independent panel of judges and presented with the ‘Quarry of the Year’ award, sponsored by Terex Trucks.
Organised by the Hillsborough based publishers of Plant & Civil Engineer magazine, the ceremony was attended by hundreds of guests and leading figures from the plant, construction and quarry industries. With 14 separate categories, the event is widely regarded as Ireland’s premier platform of recognition for those operating across all sectors of the industry.
It was a double celebration for Tobermore as they picked up a second accolade on the night, the Health & Safety Award! This prestigious award sponsored by Pat O’Donnell & Co recognised how Tobermore have worked with the Health & Safety Executive to improve safe working practices, and to provide a safe, environmentally responsible and quality orientated environment for employees, customers and the local community.
A great night was had by all and Tobermore extend their congratulations to all the finalists and category winners!
