Decorative timber effect paint finish for roller garage doors

21 Jan 2019
News

Timber effect garage doors have grown in popularity over the last few years, as they offer the natural appearance of timber which is aesthetically attractive on both new builds and more traditional homes. Leading garage door manufacturer, Garador, offer a range of roller garage doors in both coloured and timber effect finishes. Their deco paint is a timber effect finish and a durable alternative to the foil coated timber effect roller doors in the Garador range.

The deco paint surface finish has the advantage of offering a realistic woodgrain appearance and hardwearing coat, whilst being significantly cheaper than the foil coat finish. It has been specially formulated for the GaraRoll’s aluminium laths and provides a durable finish; resisting even the worst winter weather. Its anti-corrosion properties are especially appropriate for coastal homes battered by continuous salt spray in the air.

Deco Paint comes in two great timber effect finishes to blend perfectly with any existing wooden feature in a property.  Golden Oak offers a warm golden hue, while Rosewood offers a darker, more burgundy coloured look. Both the GaraRoll and GaraRoll Lite are available in deco paint finishes, with the former in Golden Oak and Rosewood and the latter in just Golden Oak.

The GaraRoll is the ideal solution for garages looking to save space inside, as the aluminium laths roll up neatly into a box at the top of the garage door opening. Because the door lifts vertically, the space immediately in front and behind the garage door is easily accessible, plus there are no tracks or lifting gear obstructing the ceiling space inside the garage, which could be used for storage or access to the roof.
