Custom Graphics in Carnaby Street

6 Sep 2022
Case study

The Window Film Company has created and installed striking graphics across several floors of the popular Kingly Court on Carnaby Street in London.

Kingly Court is a busy food court in the heart of London, serving thousands of hungry customers morning, noon and night. Set across three floors, the facility is served by a lift, and The Window Film Company was engaged to replace the graphics surrounding the lift entrances on each floor.

Requirement

A decision was made to replace the existing graphics around each lift entrance as part of a removal of outdated branding and signage. The Window Film Company was engaged to remove this and to replace it with new, vibrant, colourful and modern graphics.

Graphics were supplied to The Window Film Company and following a site survey to obtain exact measurements, The Window Film Company’s in-house print and graphics team were able to produce perfectly sized panels to apply onto the glass lift surrounds.

Solution

The colourful, geometric pattern was printed onto optically clear window film, with state of the art print equipment ensuring a bright and vibrant recreation of the custom created graphics. Each panel was computer cut to ensure ultimate precision – a vital part of the project as the design meant that each panel would need to align perfectly to deliver the desired outcome.

Each panel was checked and finished by hand to ensure every aspect of every film was perfect, before being installed by a team of The Window Film Company’s fully qualified and vastly experienced fitters, carefully removing the existing film and cleaning each panel of glass before fitting the new graphics.

Result

Once in place the new graphics gave the lift area on each floor a more modern and stylish new look, much more in keeping with the feel and ambience of the food court.

The bright graphics delivered a welcoming, professional and pleasing look to an area of the premises that previously looked outdated and tired, utilising printed graphics to create an easy to achieve, cost effective and immediately impactful result.
