Criterra tiles are earth-coloured tiles crafted from compressed earth and agricultural waste.

The product is 100% organic and can be produced anywhere in the world where there is agricultural residue and earth.

Each shade is crafted from a unique blend of stone, sand, clay and plant powder, and no harmful chemicals and additives are included in the design.

The material requires zero energy to produce and are fully compostable.

Most of the materials are local to Israel, and some of them are reclaimed from infrastructure and quarry work.

Unlike ceramics, manufacturing Criaterra tiles does not include heating the material, which makes them far more sustainable that traditional ceramic tiles.

Criterra tiles have the strength of concrete and each tile is coated with water-resistant coating which is developed from a combination of resin and mineral oils.

The material is breathable and healthy, and contributes to room air quality, and occupants’ climate comfort.

The features of the finished products enable the development of a wide range of structural and decorative applications, and complies with the various construction standards of today.
