Martin Shepherd has been appointed as sales director for Creda Heating after nearly five years with the GDC Group’s water heating division, where he was business development manager and then national sales manager.
In his new role Martin leads a dedicated Creda sales team of eight regional managers, targeting the trade and specifier sector for heating appliances. Reflecting the wide range of products in Creda’s heating portfolio, this market encompasses electrical wholesalers, specifiers including architects, contractors, local authorities, housing associations and developers.
Martin says: “I am delighted to have joined Creda at a particularly interesting and challenging time for its business and markets. We’re looking to build on a trusted, well established brand and Creda is fortunate in that business has been good over recent months, considering contrary market trends.”
Martin Shepherd brings nearly 19 years valuable experience in the heating industry to his role at Creda. Earlier in his career he worked for a water boiler manufacturer and he also ran his own electrical contracting company.
