An existing taxi lounge at Westfield Village Mall in west London has been converted into a brand new purpose designed greeting area for children heading for KidZania. Glass Aftercare recommended and created toughened laminated glass screening to fully enclose the area and ensure complete safety.
Erreka's vast experience in heavy duty entrance solutions was also an important element of the installation. Automatic Evolution Swing Doors are specifically designed for this type of limited space application and the complementary robust, electro-mechanical door operators used on all the Swing Doors are ideally suited to the project. Anti-finger traps, barrier railing and sensors have all been included too.
The overall success of the project was judged not only on the quality of the final installation, but also on achieving the tight deadlines that were set out.
