Companies from across the counter terrorism, defence and security arena were invited to submit their product and service entries for consideration in 12 essential categories. All entries received have now been reviewed by the official judging panel and shortlisted. The winners in each of the 12 categories will be decided by industry vote and announced on 25 April 2012 at the Awards Gala Dinner, being held at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington.
Cova Security Gates are delighted to be one of the finalists in the Perimeter Protection and Intrusion Detection category with their CSG 10140 Crash Tested Sliding Cantilevered Gate which was launched last year, since when it has been specified and installed at the new German Embassy building in Belgrade, Serbia and will be installed at the British Embassy in Jakarta in the coming months. This crash tested product was designed to offer a cost effective perimeter security solution that could be used to both protect critical infrastructure in a counter terror/threat scenario, and also to prevent unauthorised vehicle access such as ram raiding or riot related crime, withstanding direct impacts of substantial force.
Voting went live on 14 February and customers, specifiers and others are now able to vote for their preferred finalist at www.ctssawards.com
Cova will also be exhibiting at the Counter Terror Exhibition itself and look forward to welcoming guests on Stand G50 to discuss their existing and future perimeter security requirements.
