Leading timber door manufacturer, Ahmarra have launched a new tree planting community project to support their “Green Credentials”. To get the project off to a flying start, instead of printing Christmas cards this year, Ahmarra will spend the money on planting 200 trees in the local community.
They have also promised to plant a new tree for every FSC and PEFC door ordered by their customers in 2013. This will mean that thousands of new trees will be planted. A number of local community projects will be involved in the tree planting including Motiv8 and Stansted Park.
The tree planting scheme reinforces Ahmarra’s commitment to help sustain the earth’s natural resources. As fully certified members of the FSC and PEFC schemes, Ahmarra is committed to using sustainable materials and reducing the impact of what they do on the environment.
