Access 360, one of the UK’s leading access solutions manufacturers, has appointed an experienced new team to achieve the highest standards of health and safety across all aspects of its business.

The appointments form part of Access 360’s parent company, Tyman’s, world class health and safety strategy, which is being implemented across all brands within the UK and Ireland division, including ERA and Zoo.

With over 50 years combined experience, Clare Gabriel has been appointed as regional Head of Health and Safety for Tyman UK & Ireland, whilst Lee-Ann Reading joins the business as Health and Safety Manager.

Leading Tyman UK & Ireland’s dedicated safety strategy, Clare and Lee-Ann will be responsible for the implementation of annual divisional safety improvement plans and audits, together with management systems, training and employee engagement.

As a former Health and Safety Inspector for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Clare previously managed the health and safety for BMW’s UK manufacturing operations.

Specialising in health and safety for the transport and healthcare industries, Lee-Ann previously held the role of Head of Compliance and Health for E-zec Medical Transport, in addition to being Regional Safety, Health & Environment Coordinator at DX Group.

Clare and Lee-Ann will work in partnership to continuously evaluate health and safety practices to achieve best practice across every area of Access 360’s operations at its new state-of-the-art headquarters in the West Midlands. This includes conducting process training and working with employees to ensure a safety focused agenda is consistently maintained.

Helen Downer, President of Tyman UK & Ireland, said: “Safety is our first language, and nothing is more important than ensuring our people go home safe at the end of each working day.

“We believe that all work-related injuries and illnesses are preventable, and we aspire to achieve world-class levels of safety performance. The appointment of Clare and Lee-Ann reflects our commitment to ensuring good safety practices are successfully and sustainably achieved and I look forward to working closely with them to reach our goals.”

Tyman UK & Ireland’s Health and Safety Policy outlines its objectives for achieving excellence in health and safety management and performance across Access 360, ERA and Zoo to safeguard the health, safety and wellbeing of its employees.
