Security expert Abloy UK is presenting a number of locking solutions at Defence and Security Equipment International 2015 (DSEI), with representatives available to discuss compliance and key management with visitors.

Held at ExCeL London between 15 – 18 September 2015, DSEI brings together the defence and security industry to source the latest equipment and systems, develop international relationships, and generate new business opportunities.

Abloy will be promoting web-based security management solution, PROTEC2 CLIQ, which allows for the remote management of disparate or large electronic master-keyed sites at any time, from anywhere in the world.

The system provides comprehensive audit trails on cylinders and padlocks and the ability to remove lost or stolen keys from the system, thereby providing tight key management at all times.

PROTEC2 CLIQ is now also available with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) keys, which can be enabled or validated via a smartphone or tablet, and access rights can be granted to the user ‘on-site’. Visitors to DSEI 2015 can get an interactive demonstration of the PROTEC2 CLIQ system and BLE keys on stand N7-281.

In addition to this, Abloy will also be promoting its range of high security padlocks, which boast an LPBC rating and are CPNI approved. Padlocks that achieve LPCB approval to LPS 1654 have performed effectively in rigorous test programmes conducted by the BRE’s highly experienced team of attack testers.

Abloy’s padlocks are globally recognised for their unique rotating disc principle. With no springs or pins to wear out, the rotational disc system offers millions of key combinations combined with a precision pick and bump proof mechanism, which is reliable even in extreme weather conditions.

Jon Burke, Marketing Manager for Abloy UK, said: “We’re keen to get face to face with key players in the defence and security industry at DSEI, in order to showcase the locking solutions we can offer to help secure sites across the world – no matter what the requirements are.”
