to all areas of the Birmingham Dealership
premises. They needed a fast, cost effective,
quality and reliable solution to enable them to be
DDA compliant and provide easier access for
anyone less able.

The Spec – The Disability Access Company™ Ltd were given the brief to design a bespoke, enclosed platform lift needed to provide access to the top floor of the building, to be delivered, installed and commissioned all in just four weeks. The platform lift needed to meet all the relevant Standards and Directives to ensure that the dealership met the DDA requirements and complement the building décor.
The Solution – The Disability Access Company™ Ltd had manufactured similar platform lifts in the past so were able to produce a unit to the client’s requirements. The lift was positioned in a newly formed masonry opening. This meant that no additional builders’ work was needed to accommodate the platform lift thus minimizing cost and reducing the site time required. The Access 9000 enclosed platform lift was chosen. The Schedule – The Disability Access Company™ Ltd completed the installation in under 4 weeks giving the client a valuable few extra days to be able to complete staff training.
After Sales – The Disability Access Company™ Ltd provide the first twelve months full parts & labour warranty in with the price of the lift (including two service visits) and are able to offer a complete range of service options including a 24-7-365 day call out if necessary.
